I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, a form of breast cancer, on March 8, 2018. I was shocked and scared to say the least. With the support of friends and family, I went through chemo, had a mastectomy and then did radiation. My body thankfully responded well, and now I am going through reconstructive surgeries. Through it all, I pushed myself hard to keep fighting. Now, I share my experiences with others, with the hope that they are inspired to also push forward with determination, whether they are a patient, loved one or caregiver. I also share breast cancer research news.
